But, if it must be used, a shock of 1 second or less will cause pain and minor muscle contractions. 1 to 2 seconds will cause spasms and a dazed mental state. 3 to 5 seconds will cause loss of balance and muscle control. Do not continue to stun an assailant once you are able to escape to safety. The Stun Gun also is a multi-mode LED flashlight, operating in high and low modes.
